Below you can find even more art opportunities outside of VECCA. (only if they are shared with us at veccarts@gmail.com. These Calls for Art were shared to us by members hoping to spread the word for calls for artworks that in areas somewhat outside the valley. VECCA does not have any affiliation with any of them, but we are happy to share extra opportunities with our members.
For Writers (poems)
Tiny Seed is an online nature-focused literary journal publishing short fiction, poetry, art, and photography by established and emerging writers & artists. Several VECCA members have submitted work and been accepted in the past.
Submissions will be Open Oct 1 – Nov 1, 2025.

Art Event for Everyone
Stephens City’s first seasonal Art Festival will be held Saturday, September 27th from 12 noon to 5 pm featuring local artists! All art will be for sale, so mark your calendars!
