Art Shows

VECCA valley elements

VECCA’s Gallery hosts three exhibitions at a time, as well as shows at Theatre Shenandoah, Shenandoah Memorial Hospital and Muse Vineyards.

We have Judged Shows which change every three to four months, a featured Artist of the Month who has a whole wall to themselves for a month, and our Exhibtition Artists, who keep our gallery filled with art year round.

To see what shows are currently accepting submissions, check the homepage, or the Art Calls page that also features external events and calls.

We are continually changing the website! Watch this space for more information on submitting art to VECCA, or email us at VECCArts@gmail.com for questions.

Current & Upcoming Community Show Themes

Elemental

This show is open to art that features any of the elements: earth, air, fire, and water, openly interpreted and including cultures that have more than four elements, such as wood (China) and aether (Greece).  You can interpret this literally or symbolically, in representational art or abstraction. We are looking for a wide range of creative and interesting work! Learn more.

Constructed Worlds II

Art from Fantasy & Fiction

All work submitted must adhere to the theme of fantasy or fiction. Mythology, literature, illustration, dreams, sci-fi . . . imagine it and make it! We encourage work from visual artists, as well as writers, musicians, or any of the creative arts.

Want to be an Artist of the Month, too?

You can fill out our Artist of the Month form for more information. Or send questions to VECCArts@gmail.com. 2026 is pretty much set, but 2027 is open. Either way, some of our artists have been on the list for over a year just because we have so much interest and so little availability each year to field those interested.
