PFLAG Woodstock and VECCA are working together to celebrate LGBTQ+ history month in October. The show will highlight LGBTQ+ artists and their works as well as anyone who is an ally of the LGBTQ+ community
The Last Firing – Paintings and Pottery
“I’ll be showing some of my sculptural pieces plus some everyday pots. Some fired in my studio gas reduction kiln and others from wood/anagama firings and also salt-firings that I participated in with other potters. It was a great adventure, and although no longer working in clay, I now get to use these pots, with all their memories, and paint their portraits!”
Travis will be painting live in the front of VECCA Gallery, Wednesday to Sunday 2-6pm this whole month. Please stop in and say hi, see what he is working on, and ask any questions you might have about his approach to art.
