She lived in Pittsburgh after graduation from Pitt in 1965 and later in northern New Jersey near Lake Hopatcong. She came to Fort Valley in 1986 and now lives with her dog Buddy in Mine Mountain, offering her work under the business name of Mountain Ridge Creations. Ann draws inspiration from the year-round beauty, as well as the culture of caring, that is so much a part of her beloved Fort Valley and the greater Shenandoah Valley. She is retired from Warren County Public Schools where she taught English, Journalism, and Photography.

DARRYL KIBLER, Woodworker / Born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley, Darryl began woodworking in order to furnish his house. He creatively fashions functional forms from local lumber that draw out the beauty of the woodgrain. Darryl's first love is wormy oak, but he enjoys customizing his artwork to incorporate whatever wood the project requires. He and his wife, Deb, live in Woodstock, Va, along with their two dogs.
