CREATIVE WRITING & JOURNALISM,
ART, and MUSIC scholarships Available
The VECCA scholarship program began in 2005. Throughout the years the organization has awarded approximately $30,250 in grant monies to graduating high school students in Shenandoah County to aid them in their pursuit of a career in the arts. The scholarship program is funded solely through donations and the amount of the awards depends entirely upon the success of VECCA's annual fundraising efforts. If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund, please send your contribution to VECCA, P. O. Box 787, Woodstock VA 22664 and designate it as "scholarship fund."
VECCA invites graduating public, private, or homeschooling students in Shenandoah County, Virginia, to submit an application for this annual award. Preferential awards are for those students interested in pursuing further study in music, art, or creative writing / journalism education.
The deadline for the 2023 scholarship applications is April 7, 2023. Winners will be announced at their school awards ceremonies and by letter.
