Hospital Show
VECCA and Shenandoah Memorial Hospital are providing an opportunity for artists to inspire and encourage the community. The artworks hang in the hallway leading to the Diagnostics Center of Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.

Entry Deadline & Art Drop-off Date
This ENTRY FORM must be filled out and submitted to enter along with any entry fees paid, info below.

Artists doing both drop-off and pick-up can contact us at, veccarts@gmail.com, to make prior arrangements if they cannot make the designated time.
Artwork Rules/Restrictions
- VECCA membership is not required.
- All work submitted must be original. Work copied from other copyrighted or printed material (ie books, magazines, etc) or work copied from other Artists will not be accepted.
- Work must be labeled on the back with Artist, Title, Media, and Price.
- All work must be framed or with a finished look (e.g. clean sides, if a large unframed canvas), as well as wired to hang (NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS).
- Art must be physically and materially stable, and able to withstand gentle handling of installation.
- Work will be reviewed by a juried panel of professionals in the community. VECCA reserves the right to select which works of art will be included in the show. Please keep in mind this show is being exhibited to the general public of all ages and backgrounds, and should be appropriate for a diverse audience. If you have questions about the appropriateness of a work of art, please contact us before entry date.
Entry Fee
$5 per entry. Up to 4 entries accepted per artist. Payable to VECCA in-person at the gallery, or use the online Art Show Entry Fee in the next box.
If you pay online please print a copy of your receipt and bring it with you when you drop off your art.
Please note:
- VECCA Members get two free entries
- VECCA Gallery exhibition artists get another two free entries.
- All students get 2 free entries
- Student VECCA members get another two free entries.

Commision
A 30% commission is collected on all works sold and used to promote creative arts educational outreach programs. 15% of this commission goes to the Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.
Art Pick Up
Each artist will be contacted regarding the date, once it has been confirmed with the hospital. Artwork may only be removed by a VECCA coordinator. Every effort will be made to ensure that artwork is handled with care; however, VECCA cannot be held responsible for loss or damage.
The Hospital Show, on display at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital’s corridors that lead to the Shenandoah Diagnostics Center, provides an array of 2d artwork by local artists. Photography, acrylic, oils, pastels, and more – you are sure to be inspired by this great selection.
See something you want to buy? Artwork is for sale, unless marked otherwise on the tag. All purchases support the hospital, our Shenandoah County educational non-profit, and local artists.
To purchase, select the item you want to buy in the list below. Complete the transaction online. Then, once the transaction has gone through, you are free to take the artwork you purchased off the wall. Show the attendant at the entrance your e-mail receipt. And, thank you for supporting SMH, VECCA, and local artists!

Valley Educational Center for the Creative Arts (VECCA) is located at 123 S Main Street in Woodstock VA. If you would prefer to pay by check or cash, you will need to visit our physical location during hours of operation.
Shipping is not available for these items.
Once you have purchased the art, a receipt will be emailed to you.
Then, you can remove the artwork from the wall at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.
